To be effective, you do not have to be the smartest lawyer in the room. You have to be the most prepared.

Sam has tried cases in Georgia trial courts, the U.S. District Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. He tries approximately 10 jury trials per year and has built a reputation for meticulous preparation and steady results under pressure.
His federal trial experience includes high-stakes, complex cases. In one notable matter, he secured a complete acquittal for a Georgia probate judge facing bribery charges brought by the Department of Justice’s Public Integrity Section, a rare outcome against one of the toughest federal trial teams in the country.
Sam is transitioning his practice fully into civil litigation, bringing the precision, evidence discipline, and cross-examination skills developed in years of trial work to the catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases McDonald & Cody handles. He works from the South Office in Alto, Georgia.
